Az Amerikaiak a Magyarokért Alapítvány és az Americans for Hungarians Nonprofit NJ Corporation készíttet egy filmet Magyarországon, melynek címe: Hungarians Thank America

A kettős állampolgárság adta érzés és életforma adott olyan gondolatot, ami egy dokumentfilm készítésére inspirált bennünket. A kettős állampogárságból adódó hazafias érzés ápolását, Amerika iránti lojalitást, a hála és a köszönet érzését kívánjuk a filmben bemutatni az Early Immigrants-től kezdve napjainkig bezárólag.

Körültekintően ügyelünk arra, hogy a teljesség igénye nélkül bemutassuk Amerikának az amerikai-magyar szervezeteket és annak vezetőit, a híres amerikai-magyar személyeket,  tudósokat, innovátorokat, üzletembereket, művészeket, sportolókat.

A hála és a köszönet kifejezésével  úttörő szerepet kívánunk betölteni. A film egyik fontos üzenete, hogy felkeltsük az érdeklődök figyelmét, kik vagyunk mi magyarok, mit jelent magyarnak lenni Amerikában.

További célunk Magyarország jó hírnevének, a két ország kapcsolatának erősítése, a kulturális, művészi és tudományos értékek bemutatása és nem utosó sorban a barátság ápolása.

 Our Hungarian and American non profit foundations, the Amerikaiak a Magyarokért Alapítvány and Americans for Hungarians A NJ Non Profit Corporation have joined to create a film to be produced in Hungary entitled:

Hungarians Thank America

The film is about our expression of thanksgiving to The United States of America for providing Hungarians a new home in their country over the past centuries.

The movie describes some of the wonderful opportunities that America gave to Hungarian immigrants and Americans of Hungarian descent to live a better life. It is about gratitude, commitment and loyalty to America and our Hungarian ancestry.

The film is composed of movie clips and pictures and includes moving thank you-s and many accomplishments and contributions to America that we were fortunate as Hungarians to give back. It contains some stories of immigrants to the United States, as well as achievements that helped make America great. God Bless America!

These contributions to America were in many  fields including: health, sciences, mathematics, religion, culture, arts, music, sports, TV and film, software, business, international relations and trade, service in the military and government, integrating immigrants into US  life, and philanthropy.  

We also included Americans contributing to Hungarians worldwide and American Hungarian relations such as minority rights, the return of the St. Stephen's crown, improving bi-lateral trade, education and exchange programs, showcasing Hungarian culture such as in the Smithsonian Festival, Presidential visits to Hungary, philanthropy, and some of those who received awards for service to Hungary.
