The Ambassador of Hungary, Her Excellency Dr. Réka Szemerkény greets guests at the private reception after the Havasi Carnegie Hall Debut.

Hungarian pianist and composer HAVASI made his Carnegie Hall debut with a concert of his original symphonic compositions. HAVASI’s music blends the depth and discipline of the classical tradition with the direct communicative power of today’s music. A graduate of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, HAVASI cares deeply about engaging directly with his listeners. He is a contemporary composer who appeals to audiences of many differing musical tastes.
